I am committed to helping my clients achieve their personal goals.  My training, work experience, and life experience have all contributed to the desire to meet my clients where they are and walk along side them through their journey of growth.   

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tn.  Additional training includes: Scream-Free Parenting/Marriage, Emotionally-Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), ASIST Suicide Prevention training, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and I am a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. I am currently completing requirements for licensure under the supervision of Dr. Susan Lahey in Nashville. 
I am an active member in Tennessee Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Association of Christian Counselors, the Nashville Association of Christian Counselors, and an associate member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. 

I have six sons and one new grandson.  Outside of the office, my hobbies include reading, walking, and spending time with my family.
