I am committed to helping my clients achieve their personal goals. My training, work experience, and life experience have all contributed to the desire to meet my clients where they are and walk along side them through their journey of growth.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. Additional training includes: Scream-Free Parenting/Marriage, Emotionally-Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Gottman Couples Training Level I & II, PREPARE/ENRICH and Brainspotting Phase I, 2 &3 (Certified in Brainspotting) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).
I am a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a member of the Tennessee Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have six sons, and three grandchildren. Outside of the office, my hobbies include reading, walking, and spending time with my family and friends.
